A thousand subscribers is the first real milestone on YouTube. Here is a simple month to get you there faster.

Week 1: set up properly

Add a clear channel banner, a short description of what you post, and a channel trailer. Turn on the subscribe watermark in your channel settings so viewers can subscribe from any video.

Weeks 2 and 3: post Shorts often

Shorts reach people who have never heard of you. Post one a day if you can, each pointing to a longer video.

Week 4: double down

Look at which videos got the most watch time and make more like them. That is your channel finding its audience.
